Do I need a paid AI plan (ChatGPT Plus or Claude Pro)?
No. You do not need a paid subscription. These skills work in the free web versions of Claude, ChatGPT, and Gemini, as well as Cursor and other agents that support custom instructions or prompt files. The skill executes directly in your current chat session, meaning zero ongoing API or tool fees from us.
How technical do I need to be, and how long does setup take?
Zero coding or technical knowledge required. Setup takes under 2 minutes: you simply paste or upload the SKILL.md file into your custom instructions, system prompt, or workspace. Every skill pack includes a 3-step screenshot guide for Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini, and Cursor.
What if Shopify updates its CSV format or admin layout?
All 5 founding skills include lifetime updates. When Shopify changes its product CSV specifications, tag schemas, or admin guidelines, we update the skill definitions and email the revised files to founding pack owners automatically at no extra charge.
Doesn't Claude's Shopify connector already do this?
Partly, and it's useful. Since Sept 2026 Claude's official Shopify connector can read your orders, products and analytics and write products, discounts and inventory. That gives Claude access to your store, but it doesn't give you a written deterministic method or a fixed output schema. These skills supply that exact method: validated steps and import-ready CSV or reply layouts, usable across ChatGPT, Gemini, and Cursor too.
Will it work in ChatGPT, Gemini or Cursor, not just Claude?
The format is portable: SKILL.md is an open standard that 30+ AI tools read, and every pack ships install steps for all four. Runs on the real platforms are still in progress. The test log on this page gets a date per platform when a skill passes, and says "not run yet" until then.
What happens when Custom GPTs retire on 11 Dec 2026?
OpenAI is migrating Custom GPTs to the open Skills format these packs use. If you previously relied on a custom store GPT, an AltStack skill is a drop-in replacement that works across more platforms without being locked to one vendor.
What exactly do I get for $29?
